Representing Domestic Violence Survivors In Family Law Cases

Last Date:

Location:
2001 K Street NW
Building:
Cliford Chance
Details:

The DC Volunteer Lawyers Project (DCVLP) provides the resources that attorneys need to be a voice in court for domestic violence survivors. Family law cases present an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a full range of litigation skills, including discovery, motions, settlement negotiations,
and trial preparation, while helping domestic violence victims find long-term safety and rebuild their lives. This training will prepare attorneys to litigate family law cases on behalf of domestic violence survivors.
